1. Discovery call. We discuss your formula, target active ingredient doses, capsule shell preference (gelatin, HPMC, or pullulan) or powder format, MOQ, desired lead time, and channel strategy. We provide a costing estimate and timeline within one business day.
2. Formulation and raw-material sourcing. If you arrive with a finished formula, we move directly to costing and component procurement. If you need formulation development, we begin there — bench-testing 2–3 candidate blends against your brief and providing samples for your review.
3. Sample approval. You receive a sample batch for testing, tasting (for powders), and label-claim review. Once you sign off, we lock the formula and issue a production agreement.
4. Component procurement. Raw materials, capsule shells or pouch material, and labels are sourced in parallel. We hold qualified supplier relationships across the major active ingredient categories. Lead time on new raw materials is typically 2–4 weeks; established ingredients in our supply chain move faster.
5. Production. Blending, encapsulation or pouch-filling, and case-packing run on our in-house lines. Every batch moves through third-party laboratory verification of label-claim potency, active ingredient identity, and microbial safety before release. No batch ships without a passing COA.
6. Fulfillment and delivery. Finished goods can ship the same week they are packed through Sun's integrated fulfillment operation — DTC pick-and-pack, Amazon FBA prep, or B2B pallet delivery to your distributor or warehouse.
